We gave them some homework to prepare this session: what are pain relievers and what are gain creators? We used those during the value proposition canvas session. We constructed a unique mobile lab for Malmberg. With the help of two cameras and a microphone it was possible for our client to listen along with us in a room next to the lab. Together we made notes and clustered the results based on their subject. This data formed the foundation for our findings.’

The main question in the generative design research was: how can we improve both structure and content? We developed a modulair toolkit to help us with finding the answer to this question. This way, the biology teachers that took part in our research could develop their own perfect teaching method. Kinda like LEGO. No surprise that all the teachers were very keen on this system.

We presented our findings and insights to Malmberg. This research also marked the end of a long development phase. Malmberg now has enough specific tools to improve ‘Biologie voor jou’. And that improvement is exactly what they are focused on right now.
